Watch Guide

Brief & simple explanation: How to set your watch correctly.

Automatic Watches (No Battery)

Automatic means: The watch has no battery. It runs on wrist movement and can also be wound via the crown.

If the watch stops

  1. Unscrew the crown (turn towards you).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise – approx. 20–40 times.
  3. Wear the watch briefly or move it gently.

Tip: This is normal after long shipping or not wearing it for a while.

Setting the Time

  1. Unscrew the crown.
  2. Pull the crown out completely (last click).
  3. Set the time (turn clockwise).

Securing the Crown

Push the crown in and screw it tight.

Date & GMT (if applicable)

Some models feature a Date and/or a GMT function (second time zone).

Setting the Date

  1. Unscrew the crown.
  2. Pull the crown out slightly (first click).
  3. Set the date using the crown.

Note: If the date doesn't change immediately, continue turning the time hands – this is normal.

Setting GMT

  1. Set the GMT hand in the first click position.
  2. Runs on a 24-hour cycle.

Chronograph (Stopwatch Function)

A Chronograph features a built-in stopwatch function.

Why the large hand stands still

The large hand belongs to the stopwatch and usually stays at 12 o'clock when not in use. The running seconds are located on the sub-dial.

  1. Top Button: Start / Stop
  2. Bottom Button: Reset
